Questioner: Peter

I have an easy question I think. I have to extend/renew my annual visa in November, but I am in the Netherlands. Does my visa now expire, do I have to go through the whole non-immigrant process again when Thailand opens again or is there a solution for this?

I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem.

For the lucky ones in Thailand, have fun there!

Extending a period of stay is only possible if you are in Thailand.

If you are outside Thailand and your period of stay expires, you have to start everything all over again.

If you can return and your period of stay has expired, first get a Non-immigrant visa. You can then extend the 90 days that you get with this as before.

No, you are certainly not the only one with this problem and that is why that question has already been answered several times on the blog. 😉
