Questioner: Dammy

I am going to Thailand on December 6th for 60 days. What is Wisdom? Apply for an e-visa tourist for 60 days with the associated administrative upload hassle. Or just extend a single tourist exemption days for 30 days upon arrival and before this visa expires at the immigration office for another 30 days?

You mention both options and so you are aware. It is then up to you to decide what to do.

You find applying online with the associated administrative upload a hassle. You may think so, but a lot of people just manage to do it, but you usually don't read their experience.

On the other hand, there are also people who see the hassle that you may encounter with a "Visa Exemption" such as with the check-in with your return flight date, extending it where you can also lose a day due to waiting and queuing and the extra 15 Euro that it costs more than a visa, also a problem.

Personally…, I would always go for the visa. No more worries at check-in and in Thailand afterwards. But I leave the wisdom to the traveler himself.

Going to immigration will take you much more time than applying for a Tourist visa online. You can apply for a tourist visa in 30 minutes. Allow only half a day for immigration and then come back again to collect your passport.
