Questioner: Rudi

Anyone with experience at the immigration office in Kalasin. Visa O to retirment visa 1 year. Was the affidavit of the Belgian embassy accepted there? Or the deposit of 65 000 baht? Do you have to show an insurance policy of 40 and 000?

The TM 30 will be accepted by immigration Kalasin if it has been confirmed by the local police. Since I am going to stay in Somdet and there is no immigration, this district does fall under Kalasin.

Anyone experience with this?

I would like to know what documents Kalasin needs to obtain my annual visa.

If anyone uses Kalasin as an immigration office, they might be able to tell you more.

Insurance normally does not apply if your original visa was a Non-immigrant O. By the way, you do not go from “Visa O to retirment visa 1 year” but you only extend the period of stay obtained with a Non-immigrant O for one year on the basis of “Retirement”.

I don't think handing over a TM30 to the police will do much, but you can try.

This was something from when there were fewer immigration offices and not every province had its immigration office.
