Questioner: Mark

When they ask for a bank statement at the Thai embassy, can this be a print screen or must it be an official paper from the bank?

Thank you in advance.

When I look at the website of the embassy in Brussels, for example, with a Tourist visa, it says:

“Financial evidence eg bank statement or sponsorship letter

Last 3-month bank statement with a minimum balance of 700 Euros (Single Entry Tourist Visa) *must expressly mention name and date ( no more than 7 days before the application date)”

Tourist visa – Royal Thai Embassy Brussels

It seems to me that this should not be done directly on an official paper from the bank, but a printout will suffice insofar as your name, date and of course the name of the bank can be seen.

But maybe readers know what Brussels accepts and otherwise send an email to ask.

A clear print screen with your name and sufficient balance. You can often easily download this yourself via internet banking.

The Hague certainly accepts a photocopy and print screen.
But of course Brussels can set other conditions.

In Brussels they didn't make a fuss about a printed extract. To be sure, I had them stamped on the bank itself.
