I live near Nakhon Ratchasima. In 10 days I plan to stay in Pattaya/Jomtien for two weeks. Have an annual visa. Now I have to report again (90 days) in January exactly the time I stay in Pattaya.
Can I arrange things in Pattaya or am I required to return to Nakhon Ratchasima because I live there?

Normally you have to report the 90 days at the immigration office of your place of residence. See: bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/base.php?page=faq Question 6: Where is the place to make 90 days notification. Answer In case of notifying in person or by agent, it must be made at the Provincial Immigration office located in the same area of the alien's residence.
You have 15 days before and 7 days after the end date of your 90 day period to do so. See www.immigration.go.th/
– The notification must be made within 15 days before or after 7 days the period of 90 days expires.
However, I don't really see the problem. You write “In 10 days I plan to stay in Pattaya/Jomtien for two weeks.” So you only stay in Pattaya for 2 weeks, but you have more than 3 weeks to make your report. (see 15 days before or 7 days after). I don't know the exact date when your 90 days expire, but then you still have time to make that notification before or after your stay in Pattaya.
Of course you can also try it online. Can be done from anywhere. You can also try by mail, but every immigration office does not accept this by mail. Please inform yourself about this first. If so, send it before you leave and it might be in your mailbox when you return. Finally, you can also try Pattaya, but I don't know if they want to do it. Should normally be possible, but it might depend on where the wind is blowing at the time.
