Dear editors,

When I go through customs on the 30th day to leave after midnight (so actually the 31st day). Is this still seen as a 30-day stay without a mandatory visa?

Earlier I noticed that customs stamps the day of their passage and not the date of your ticket / boarding pass.

Thank you very much,

Peter

Dear Peter,

You get the day stamp at immigration (and not customs) that is effective at the time of passing. You have then administratively left Thailand for immigration. Effectively, of course, this happens when your plane takes off. Whether you go through immigration before or after midnight (if you leave at 02.30:0000, for example) doesn't make any difference. You will not be fined if you pass through immigration after 31 and this is actually your XNUMXst day.

Regards,

RonnyLatPhrao
