Questioner: Dirk

On both the website of the Thai embassy in Brussels and The Hague, I notice that there is no longer any mention of an “O” single entry visa for persons over 60. Only from visa “O” single entry based on marriage.

Is this visa really no longer available for retirees? Have already sent an e-mail to the embassy in Brussels but have not received a reply yet.

As far as I know, that Non-immigrant O (Retired) has never been on the website of the embassy in Brussels. You can go to that of the consulate in Antwerp, but you can no longer go there.

I even reported this to the embassy a few years ago.

According to what I heard recently, although it is not listed on their website, you could obtain Non-immigrant O (Retired) – Single entry in Brussels.

You may just have to wait for your email reply.

It has always been on the website of the embassy in The Hague and it is still there.

“(Purpose 4) to stay in Thailand after retirement for the elderly (at least 50 years of age)”
