Thailand Visa Question No. 215/24: Immigration Chonburi – Appointment at immigration not possible
Questioner: Ferry
Until recently it was possible to schedule an online appointment at the immigration Chonburi (Soi 5 Jomtien). However, divisions 2 and 3 are now missing from the list on the online appointments website.
Does anyone at Thailandblog have any idea why that is?
I have also sent the question to the immigration office Chonburi by e-mail a few times, but have not received any response so far. So making an appointment online Immigration Pattaya is not possible (at the moment).
Response Ronny
Indeed, they are gone.

No idea why. Seems more like a bug in the system because entire divisions have disappeared.
I haven't read anything about it anywhere and I can't find anything about it right away.

Emailing 'with' Thai Immigration is 2x nothing. My experience on Phuket over many years is that they never answer.
Making a phone call, asking a question? Very difficult.
Getting a good answer right away is a miracle.
Usually they fob you off with: We will call you back, which never happens.
For a Government Body that works specifically/only with Foreign clients, it is quite bad that communication skills are usually completely absent.
It must be due to the poor education in Thailand.
They're not even embarrassed about it.
Fortunately, some Thai youngsters are now coming, who are not yet allowed to wear the uniform, but who can handle English, are friendly and service-minded.
It is not without reason that it is voluntary foreigners (tourist police) who do the intake at the Immigration office, including sorting/folding your application, so that the 'real' Immigration Officer can handle it with his eyes closed, only having to open his eyes to put the stamp on.
And now an answer to the question?
