On the list of the 50 best restaurants in the world, The World's 50 Best, Gaggan has now made it into the top 5. Indian chef Gaggan Anand, who has lived in Bangkok since 2007, opened his restaurant in 2010. He has succeeded in refining Indian food to the same level as French or Japanese cuisine.

The restaurant is located in a former 19th-century mansion in Bangkok. Before opening his own restaurant, Gaggan worked for years at the three Michelin star restaurant elBulli in Spain.
