A special attraction for tourists in Pattaya is a visit to a dazzling show, performed by transvestites and ladyboys. There are two main theatres, Alcazar and Tiffany's (see their website), which put on three performances a day and are visited in droves by tourists.

If you're nearby at the right time on the north side of Second Road, you'll see dozens of buses, minivans and taxis dropping off and picking up visitors to take them back to hotels or other lodgings.

The number of tourists in Thailand – especially from Asian countries – continues to rise, so there was room for another theater. A theater has opened on Thepprasit Road in Jomtien since 2013: the Coliseum. If you think it has something to do with the Colosseum in Rome, you are right, because this theater is a true copy of the famous building in Italy.

On their website the usual superlatives that belong to such a theater and show. Here you can see a cabaret show in Asia's largest theater, where transvestite artists of stunning beauty in glamorous costumes and in a stylish setting perform an extravagant show. The slogan they use is “The Leader of Modern Cabaret Show”.

The location was chosen due to less traffic, wider roads and good parking on Tepprasit Rd. The theater can accommodate at least 1000 people, of which 350 can be considered as VIP seats. The theater has been specially designed to provide a good view of the show from all seats.
