In the top 10 of the best Asian destinations Thailand represented three times with Phuket (2nd place), Koh Samui (9th place) and Bangkok (10th place).

I know all the airports from the list but that Thailand is so good makes no sense.

Hong Kong is definitely number 1, but 2 for me is Changi in Singapore.

Schiphol is not bad but parking is too expensive and the train could be better.

I certainly don't think Schiphol is bad, but to rank this airport among the best ten airports in the world? The staff is often unfriendly and it is also occasionally (read during busy periods) very messy. Empty luggage carts lying around and long queues don't really paint a well-organized picture.

Disagree with the ranking that BKK has 10th place.

It is an irritation every time you have to go through the passport control there.
    And very unfriendly, sometimes rude.
Also on February 28th when I returned to the Netherlands I stood in line for a good hour.

And make sure to be there 4 hours in advance. Because passport control takes it easy.

As far as Schiphol is concerned as a mainport, almost everything goes smoothly.
Even in busier periods you sometimes have to wait, but never 1 hour.
For me, Schiphol can take 3rd place instead of BKK airport.
