Christmas in Bangkok 2012 (video)
Can you get into a higher Christmas atmosphere at 35 degrees above zero? Surely when you stay in Bangkok. The Thai go to great lengths to help you remember that it is Christmas.
The shopping malls in particular turn out to be quite impressive and are not inferior to the lavish Christmas decorations in the Netherlands.
A Christian festival in the Buddhist Thailand… eh? Well, commerce has also struck here. Christmas also means a lot of food and presents for the family, so extra turnover for the shopping centres.
Oh, if it's fun. And here we go again:
“Oh, jingle bells, jingle bells
jingle all the way
Oh what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, jingle bells"

I am currently visiting my girlfriend here in Thailand for 2 months and next year we will get married and I will live here in Bangkok. I like that Christmas is also celebrated here and I notice that the fraternization between people is very great and personally that does me very well. What couldn't be more beautiful to think of and to see how much joy and love arises when celebrating Christmas. What people have already experienced here in Thailand in recent years, that is quite something, and I I'm glad I'm walking here in Bangkok and seeing how everything runs so smoothly and the Dutch can learn a lot from that.
Yes for me it is a great experience how Christmas is celebrated here in Bangkok and
will be experienced. Sincerely, FDStoelwinder.
Commerce strikes…Yep.
A clear conclusion, well,….as long as it's fun.
But I think the song is the most appropriate,..let it snow… let it snow,
I better grab a chair, because that's going to take a while.
Celebrated Christmas without my daughters and ex-wife for the first time this year… far away from everything. Delicious Thai food and a Brazilian caipirinha on the side… both went to bed a little mau mau. Christmas without stress.
It used to be quite cozy, but now it was casual and relaxed. We will soon enter the city, to Hua Hin…
