Singer or singer in Thailand's Got Talent?
Internet forums are not forthcoming. Is a man or a woman singing during this Thailand's Got Talent?
Most suspect that Nuntrita Khampriranon used to be a man, but underwent a gender reassignment as transgender. The candidate pretends – in appearance – to be a girl and that is how she seems to start singing. But after half a minute of head voice she suddenly switches to a deep voice. Much to the amusement of the audience and the jury.
Gender is stated on Nuntrita's Facebook profile: man. What do you think?

Nuntrita is a woman! You can easily recognize many ladyboys/katoeys, with some it is less visible. Look at Nuntrita's physique: wide hips and a narrow waist, the Coke bottle model. You can do a lot in the reconstruction from woman to man or vice versa, but they really can't (yet) make wider hips and narrower waists!
I have been watching this video with some Thai experts, all the same conclusion, ladyboy.
And there are plenty of them walking around in Pattata with wide hips and narrow waists, I mean the ladyboys.
Just go to "Pook" the Swanhouse in Soi Buakhow, you don't even have to go in to see them, they are dancing on a stage outside.
You can do a lot in the reconstruction from woman to man or vice versa, but they really can't (yet) make wider hips and narrower waists!
Oh no? And CHER then???
phet tee sam or 3rd sex
Could be wrong but believe that thailand officially recognizes 3 genders, male, female and the phet tee sam, namely 3rd gender, intended for all transgender people, could be wrong, so who can correct me please, think that the thai rather thinks what is the problem man or lady , kathoey
Thank Kuhn Peter for this wonderful and entertaining video. I actually liked the way the jury and audience reacted when they discovered that it was a 'kathoey', namely: full of cheerfulness, humor and also admiration. In Europe, such a person would rather be booed and in Honduras, according to the latest reports, simply killed.
As an exception, I added the video to my 'Favorites' to show people why I love Thailand! By the way, I'm a 'full-blooded' hetero, so that's not the point.
been to ko chang for 2 years back in a resort. All staff were katoey.
The receptionist was a sight to behold, many a boydbuilder would be jealous of it. so that was clear.
I did chat at night with the night watchwoman, who was always willing to help to drink the rest of my bottle of whiskey. She said that ALL staff were katoey right down to the kitchen and cleaning staff.
Could hardly believe it, there were a handful of hy / zy that I thought, well that gives me wild thoughts.
Incidentally, Buddhism has 14 gender identities.
Hands, posture, body language: man.
No doubts, at least for me, possible
Whether or not I like being confronted with “Katoys” will probably be of concern to everyone.
However, if you ask me now if I like it?
Well no.
Country wise etcetera etcetera, but allow me to consider this one of the less successful manifestations of Thai culture.
Well, I don't care what she is but I just think she sings beautifully. That's what it's all about, isn't it? Moreover, she also has a nice face and fine figure. And Wallie, I also think it's a nice subject too. Not about what she is but Thailands Got Talent. Would love to see more talented people. So Khun Peter on to the next talent.
I always find it very entertaining to see how these ladyboys decorate the unsuspecting farang, some of them are really beautiful.
I think 8 out of 10 songs that are sung are about the naughty man/woman who has another person behind.
Last time I experienced a wedding with 3 singers where my girlfriend says that one had released a CD.
Really enjoyed those girls, a feast for the eyes and beautiful singing,
Just never understand anything about it but yes
Definitely a dude!! You snap out in a terrible way when you hear that deep voice. Almost heavier than that bear from the chocolate spread commercial. He may have had his situation changed, but I'm sure he snores like a boat worker.
They also have to remove those backstage pipos at 'name a country' got talent. If you concentrate on a performance, those two halves suddenly come into view. Go play with each other guys, are you busy.
Furthermore, it is of course Thai with a capital letter, only here that is possible …….
Beautiful.
Those 'backstage peeps' are part of it! They make it even more fun! What a video!!
Don't make a fuss about the gender, especially in Thailand. The Eurovision Song Contest was once won by a man/woman and a beautiful one too. And I heard she/he will participate again this year. As someone wrote before me whether or not enjoy the beauty or the singing and for the rest. Let everyone in his value.
Why, like Ron, comment on his Dutch "bear", boat worker "backstage pippo's"two halves"have fun playing together"Did they do something to you??. Lots of “katoys” look great and enjoy it. They're not all bad. You don't have to live with it anyway. Let them.
Are we perfect????
Ruud
You don't have to be perfect to criticize Ruud. It's really just an opinion, nothing more. This singing converted male can also just live, no problem.
And yes, I'm Dutch and comment in my own way.
There is also such a copy in the workshop of a well-known motorcycle shop in Pattaya. Does its job excellently and looks like a dream woman. Just don't think about getting closer than a meter or two, three.
Well, don't make a fuss about the gender …………… everyone will think differently about that.
At least I'm very difficult about it, and especially in Thailand 😉
You have learned people in a stupid country
You have stupid people from a learned country
cilla la view
Dear Hans,
What is 'cilla la view' ?
c'est la vie it had to be, but you knew that
No, I didn't have that because of Hans. I'm not asking for the known way.
The two sentences above are in response to my text, how should I interpret it?
that's life
and the interpretation is entirely up to you
Maybe you've been with one before, without realizing it, drink too much. who knows ??
It is also true that people who criticize kathoeys or overly homofibic such as paw ramming etc, have such feelings themselves.
but that is obviously not the case with you );
Even PowNews had the video in their broadcast tonight, the Thailand blog is so popular.
The Flemish also appreciate the video very much. After the daily newspaper De Morgen, it is now on the site of the daily newspaper De Gentenaar, with subtitles. By the way, that female jury member is also very welcome! I forgot to mention.
99% certainly a penis lady, but she/he has guts because a kathoey wants to be seen as a woman, this 'lady' looks excellent by the way. Has no male traits at all, except for the voice. how awful to hear that.
The druws go over the grays.
Finally, I think that it can also be playback and that they are cheating.
I recognize 99 out of 100 ladyboys, but with this one I think I would have fallen for it, and oh so what, as long as she doesn't put on a heavy poltergeist voice)
Beautiful song by the way, but I have thousands of them on my PC, (40 Gig)
Also thought about a bit of playback, but when she answered the jury in the beginning it sounded female and you can't playback.
An acquaintance of mine once told me that he had a game on his computer,
Of the 20 photos that pass by indicate whether or not katoey,
Result: Tjsa answer, all 20 katoey
Yes I know those photos, but with photos alone I can't figure it out at all.
I once saw one walking in the Netherlands, as ugly as night, shoe size 47, and hands like koleskhodes and a crooked wig, dear God, he really had a problem, what that will do, those Asians have it a lot easier, feminine traits in terms of physique and of course acceptance of the population.
In the advertising world in Thailand, ladyboys calendars, beer advertising, etc. are often used, because they are often tight in the suit, a super beautiful and feminine appearance can come across. I am therefore not talking about the heavily made-up clowns that you sometimes walking around.
Last night 2 acquaintances showed this video next comment
Wow that's a nice girl
2nd what a sweet soft voice SHE has
3rd what is that, I say a converted man
4th well it will be kicked out
5th what do the jury say, I say the jury says all 3 you're through
6th weird guys that lazy there in thailand i say or girls
7th I never believed you about your katoey's stories
8th and when I come to visit you this year, tell me if it's a converted one if I want one of those hotties
I say boy, of course, but I haven't promised him when I'm going to tell him
In the last part of the video, she/he says that his father is not happy with the fact that he is a katoey and has therefore often been beaten and receives.
What I especially like about this video fragment is how the Thai people deal with this. Just great. Applause someone like that and just ignore his / her sexual orientation. Great country!!!
