Thailand is the land of Pick-up Trucks. Wherever you look you will find them.

They are also used for things for which they are not intended, such as passenger transport. Another problem is the extreme and often dangerous loading. This video is a good example of that. Well made and installed. And yes, what more can be said about it?

Watch and be amazed. This is Thailand!

Daily costs and it can be even higher. I regularly see overturned cars. Remember that they also do this with the real trucks and you should think twice before overtaking such a thing in a corner. With us, one recently drove into a house and fell over! Moreover, such a device becomes difficult to control and so if something happens, for example a crossing dog, they are badly screwed. I regularly see them lying on the roadside. Oh yeah…. they still do catch up.

What I miss are the co-drivers who are on the load.

    This is really unbelievable.
    Nice photo, by the way.
When I see something like that I'm extra wary.
The driver usually sits very relaxed, sometimes with a cigarette.

Wherever you are or come, Thailand is and remains a great adventure.
Don't be surprised if you see 1 pickup that is broken.
It is striking that you see a lot of new and also expensive cars.
That car that you drive around here as a kind of Volkswagen is called an SUV in NL.

In the strangest places you can get a fine if you smoke, but many especially trucks give you the smoke of 1 packs of cigarettes in your lungs in 10 few seconds.
My blind friend who was sitting in the back seat of a taxi was fined 1000.- Thb because he didn't wear a seat belt, he didn't even see him.
Since that time he only goes in the tray of 1 pick up.

The driver was fined 100 Thb.
I sometimes wonder what would happen if an APK inspection were to come here.
Many people would then no longer be able to go to work and huge traffic jams would arise .
Let it be, we can tell something nice to the family.

There is a kind of APK inspection here.
When I went to pay my road tax, my car had to be inspected first.

    Hans G
That happened to me too, but according to my princess it was only to check whether the numbers were correct.
They also taped just the chassis and engine numbers to go over with a pencil to check that.
Like they don't know how to replace those numbers here.
