Thailand is seeing its worst flooding in decades, with millions affected in most of the country's provinces. Residents of Bangkok are bracing for a surge from the Chaophraya river that winds through the capital.

      benny, i fled there last tuesday (last week). Having to leave my house behind, luckily I was able to save a lot of furniture and cars. It is indescribable, the water is now more than 3 m in some places in Ayutthaya.
      We will have to start from scratch.
      You have to sit in it yourself to experience it and not say from a lazy sofa in be or nl: 'It's bad'.
      This is a major disaster for the people from here, expats, but especially for the industry.
      No work, no money, and if you know that all factories are flooded in Ayutthaya, these are thousands of unemployed, no benefits as we know it in the low countries.
