Fireworks Festival in Pattaya
Pattaya City will again be dominated by the International Fireworks Festival this year; this will be held from November 30 – December 1, 2013.
The International Fireworks Festival is held at the bay in front of the popular shopping centre, Central Festival. The fourth edition of this spectacle will for the first time be jointly organized by Pattaya City and Chonburi Province with the support of the Ministry of Defence.
In previous years it was a private initiative, but Pattaya City has decided to add the event to its annual events calendar.
The fireworks will be launched from floating platforms in Pattaya Bay. These are 1 km from the mainland for safety reasons.
The official announcement of the list of participating countries will be made soon. So far, four countries (the United States, Canada, China and Singapore) have already confirmed their participation. Last year, eight countries participated: Australia, China, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Philippines, the United Arab Emirates and the United States.
About 100.000 visitors are expected. The final number of visitors will depend on the number of available hotel rooms. Tourists should expect fully booked hotels during the Fireworks festival in Pattaya.

It's getting busy again in Pattaya and the surrounding area.
On 17 Nov. there is the well-known Loy-Krathong party which has been mentioned earlier on the blog
discussed and what it means.
On November 22 – 24 there is the Ocean Marina Pattya boat show where more than
100 boating representatives will be present.
Many activities will be offered both on the water and on land.
And finally on 28 and 29 Nov. the international competitions in the field of fireworks with as
theme:”Brighten Your Life” along the Beachroad.
In the afternoon there is already a parade of school children from Pattaya and live concerts
with the bands Watcharawalee and “Slot Machine”.
The small fireworks at 21.00 is followed by a concert of “Tattoo Color”.
It goes without saying that this whole is once again framed by “braderie-like” things.

Tip – go early because the traffic in and around Pattaya is stuck and there is no way through.
