SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World, a beautiful marine aquarium
A nice attraction, also to visit with children, is Seal life Ocean World in Bangkok. This special and beautiful sea aquarium can be found on the ground floor of the luxurious shopping center Siam Paragon.
Sea Life Ocean World covers an area of two football fields. This makes it the largest marine aquarium in Southeast Asia (approximately 10.000 m²). You can view no fewer than 30.000 sea animals there. Including a large shark population. Even the mysterious hammerhead shark swims around. In addition to the different themes such as Rainforest, Deep Reef and Living Ocean, there are daily shows such as feeding the sharks and penguins.
Visitors even have the opportunity to dive and swim among the sharks! That is pricey, but a unique experience. You can also take a trip with a boat that has a glass bottom. There is also a unique 4D Theater, the Sanyo 4D X-Venture.
Sea Life Ocean World is open daily from 10.00am-21.00pm (checkout closes at 20.00pm).

Special notes:
- Visitors are advised to arrive within their selected time slot as late arrivals may be refused.

- It is recommended that visitors allow at least 90 minutes to fully explore the aquarium.

I have been there twice and it is indeed beautiful, the last time last year there was some renovation work here and there.
Indeed a very nice marine aquarium. No increased entrance fee for farang. My ticket, with a 60+ discount upon presentation of a pink Thai ID card, was for once less expensive than that of my Thai partner.
