Nightlife in Bangkok (video)

Having nightlife in Thailand is famous and infamous. Anyone who has been around the globe can confirm it, almost nowhere else in the world can you find such extensive go out as in Bangkok, Pattaya and Phuket. Of course, a large part of the entertainment industry revolves around sex, but for tourists who do not come for that, there is also plenty to do. The many bars with live music, excellent restaurants, discos, beach parties and shopping malls are good examples of this.
In this video you will see footage of the more infamous side of Bangkok nightlife, such as Self Cowboy en Nan Plaza. For less rough work, Hanrahans, a popular Irish pub on Soi 4 Nana, is recommended. No freelancers or bargirls here, so you can have a drink undisturbed. The food is excellent and the portions are very large.
Gulliver's bar in Soi 5 is also fine. The bar has a nice interior and the inevitable pool tables. You can watch sports games there. The service of the staff is a bit less.
Soi Cowboy stands out because of the many neon lights and feels like a funfair. Nana Plaza is a bit more subdued, but here too it is clear what it is all about. Take a look if you have never been there. Just observing is a delicious entertainment in itself.

Video dates back 7 years and the name of the Irish Pub on Sukhumvit Soi 4 has since changed to Fitzgeralds, but still a good and relaxed place to people watch undisturbed.
