Anyone who wants to escape the cold and gray days in Belgium or the Netherlands in February has plenty of options, including Thailand. We asked Carolien (26) and an employee of a travel agency why she would recommend Thailand as a holiday destination in February.

Caroline: “If you are looking for a perfect holiday destination in February, then you should definitely consider Thailand. You know, February is one of the best months to visit Thailand. It is the dry season, so you can enjoy beautiful sunny weather with pleasant temperatures. This makes it ideal for beach lovers and adventure seekers alike.

Thailand is not only blessed with breathtaking beaches, but also with a rich culture and history. You can visit fascinating temples such as the famous Wat Pho in Bangkok or the ancient ruins of Ayutthaya. And let's not forget Thai cuisine! It is world famous for its delicious and varied dishes. Whether you try street food in Bangkok's colorful markets or dine in a luxurious restaurant, Thai cuisine is sure to tantalize your taste buds.

In addition, there are plenty of activities for adventurers, such as trekking through the jungle, snorkeling in crystal clear waters, or exploring the many islands. And the great thing is that Thailand is very affordable, meaning you can have an unforgettable vacation without breaking the bank.

In short, Thailand in February offers the perfect escape from the cold European winter. Sun, culture, adventure and delicious food – what more could you want in a holiday?”

  1. Mister BP says up

It's nice that the opinion of a 26-year-old employee of a travel agency is seen as a fact, but it is not. I have been on holiday a lot in the past 45 years and often to Thailand, but I also like to go to other countries such as Greece because I miss certain aspects of Thailand. Love someone warm or cool weather. Do you want to have many tourists around you or few? What type of tourism do you want to see; the one who adapts to culture and people or the loudmouth who thinks that everything is now allowed. Nothing is better or worse, but it does make why you go to a certain country. For the rest I agree with the content.
