Reader Question: Can I give my soon-to-be a ring?
I'm getting married in Thailand in January next year and hope to get my new family to Belgium soon after that. I want to give her a ring, but I don't know if this is in keeping with Buddhism. Can you answer me please, because I don't want to ask her as I really want to keep this as a surprise if possible.
We are going to Bangkok in November. We would like to have our wedding rings made there, but are only in Bangkok for a short week (and will return to Belgium afterwards). Do you think it is possible to have wedding rings made in such a short time?
