We have booked Thailand for 66 days and we now need to apply for a so-called non-immigrant visa for 90 days. I get that (for € 70) based on state pension and pension income. My boyfriend is 62, so he doesn't have a pension and won't get one either, because we owned a Thai restaurant together.
My question to Ronny is: My 20-day visa expired on February 90, so I have to extend it for 30 days because I have my return journey home on March 14. I now live in Udonthani and can go to Vientiane for the extension.

About 2 years ago I got both the Thai driving license for car and motorcycle and will have to renew it around the upcoming turn of the year. I got my driver's license in Pranburi and I don't know what the next procedure is. Are there readers who can help me with the correct information about this renewal?

I have been living in Thailand for 12 years, I am 77 years old, Dutch and have never been back to the Netherlands in those 12 years. I have always had my Dutch driving license extended with a family address in the Netherlands for RDW shipments. My driver's license expires next year and the renewal is different now, given my age.

My brother got his Thai driver's license two years ago, but since it was only valid for 2 years the first time. For your information: my brother comes to Thailand for a month twice a year and has his own home here in Thailand. He must therefore renew this driver's license next December. My question now is whether he needs to be in possession of a non-immigrant o visa again for this or can he do that extension with a regular 30-day visa waiver on entry?
