How is it…. (10) lock
It is now 22 years ago that I met the Thai T. We lived together for 10 years and with her I have a 20-year-old son who has been living with me for 9 years now. With a clear conscience I can say that with her nothing is (still) what it seems. Read the story of Lung Ruud.

Gift for Thai girlfriend on reunion?
One goes on holiday to Thailand and one gets to know someone (a girl) with whom it "clicks" and with whom one shares his days or weeks there ... in a manner of speaking "(superficial) love for the sake of both". Then comes the farewell where she says “I will wait for you darling” and of course he says “I come back darling”… and that's how many love adventures fairy tales end. There are of course exceptions, she was happy with him and he with her ... so worth repeating and in the meantime contact is kept.
At the company doctor…. (reader submission)
A few years ago, when I was still working for a large steel company in IJmuiden, I had to report to the occupational health and safety service for yet another medical check-up. Every few years there is a physical examination for people who work in heavy industry, for example at a blast furnace or a steel factory.
After long hesitation. For some time I read the Thailand blog with great pleasure. I read a lot of messages from men with a Thai wife. I have been to Thailand many times, but I never dared to take the step, literally looking for a Thai woman.
Reader question: What should a Thai do to divorce a foreigner?
I have a good friend who lives in Thailand. She married an Austrian man 3 years ago and lived in Austria with him. They are, as far as I know, married in community. Now she has been back in Thailand for a year because the marriage was no longer going well. She now wants to divorce that man, but he does not want to cooperate with the divorce. What should my good friend do now to dissolve the marriage?
My Thai wife and I have been married for 6 years and have 2 children together. Now, after living in Belgium for 6 years, she wants to go back with the children and stay there to take care of her parents. I want to come along, but I have my business here in Belgium and know that I wouldn't be able to find work there right away. I also don't want a divorce and the children are only 5 and 7 years old, so the plan would be to go to Thailand regularly during holidays. Does anyone have experience with such a situation, can this continue? Does it make sense for me to keep putting my money into that?
My wife has a girlfriend in Thailand, she is a widow and wants a new relationship. She was married to a Dutch man, has lived in the Netherlands and can speak Dutch. She is now looking for a new man from the Netherlands or Belgium.
I'm going to Jomtien in June and would like to get to know an honest lady there, but apparently it's all ladies there who work in the bars. Does anyone have suggestions for getting to know a posh lady or does anyone know a lady who would like to meet me there? I am a decent 63 year old man with no problems. Already going to Thailand for the third time and now want to find a woman for a relationship.
