National and international outrage over Narathiwat school bombing
The struggle of Muslim separatists in the deep south of Thailand seems to be hardening. On Tuesday morning, a bomb attack at a primary school in Tak Bai (Narathiwat) killed three people, including a father and his 5-year-old daughter. Nine persons were injured.

Train traffic to the south of Thailand has been halted after a heavy bomb attack seriously damaged the train from Bangkok to Sungai Kolok last Saturday.
Bombing aftermath: Investigation continues
The investigation into the bombings has not yet yielded any concrete news. The military government believes it is a political motive, with the perpetrators directed by a client. Yesterday the police mainly pointed to southern militants. This conclusion was drawn because, according to one source, there were traces that would lead to 'a prominent politician in the South'.
Bombings: Sabotage or expansion of southern resistance?
According to the Bangkok Post, there is doubt about the possible background of the perpetrators of the recent bomb attacks. Earlier, the NCPO, the military government, said it was most likely sabotage by a regional political group. Nevertheless, forensic investigations show that the bombs and arson attacks used correspond to the usual methods of the southern resistance of mainly Muslim separatists.

On Thursday, fifty flights were canceled at the airports of Hat Yai, Trang, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat and Koh Samui due to poor visibility due to smog from Indonesia.
