Everyone is different and everyone has their own place in and view of the Thai community. Some work here, others are retired and many come as tourists. Opinions about Thailand and our place in it therefore differ considerably. There is nothing wrong with that. It makes me curious about everyone's role.

The Dutch are less positive about politics and society
More and more Dutch people, especially the lower educated, are concerned about health and care for the elderly, immigration, crime and the hardening of society. Every quarter, the Social and Cultural Planning Office gauges how the Dutch think about the country. The research that has now been presented was done in February, a month before the elections.
