Last week we read a piece on Thailandblog that the SSO would no longer sign proof of being alive. Due to the Corona measures, we had postponed the trip to the Government Building in Chiang Mai
Reader question: What is the task of the SSO in Thai society?
Last week I visited the office of the SSO in the city of Lamphun because of the application for my AOW pension through the SVB. The abbreviation SSO stands for Social Security Office. I had already been there a few weeks ago to have a 'living' statement signed for the PMT pension fund.
