Glowing sea water in Thailand
Recently, the media in the Netherlands reported that on some evenings a fascinating natural phenomenon can be seen by the sea. In some places along the coast, the water shows a glowing “light”.
Sea water quality near Pattaya is poor
The sea water along the beaches of Pattaya is polluted. The poor quality of the water could pose a danger to humans and animals. The Regional Environmental Office writes in a report that the pollution of the sea water is increasing. Municipal clerk Chanutthaphong Sriwiset says authorities are looking into a solution. He admits that the quality of the water has declined in recent years.
