Can my partner travel around Thailand and Asia despite covid?
My partner wants to go on a big tour all over Asia. He indicated that he wanted to buy a 4×4 suv/pickup in Thailand and then, after traveling around Thailand for several months, would like to visit different countries, such as Laos, Vietnam, China, Japan, Korea, Indonesia/bali, Australia/ NZ etc. He wants to stay in each country for about 1-3 months and travel around.
We are going to travel around Thailand in November but now it is not clear to me if I fly from Phuket to Pattaya and from Pattaya to Chiang Mai if I have to test before time if I am in possession of Phuket sandbox form? I can't find anything about this on a website or anything, most of what I find is all Thai. Does anyone here have info on this?
Reader question: Traveling around Isaan and booking a hotel
At the end of this month I will be traveling around Isaan again for 2 weeks and Roi et is also on my list to do. However, when I look at the well-known hotel booking sites, there is hardly any hotel room to book. I have also approached hotels by telephone, but unfortunately no room was available on January 30. Is there a festival or something? I've googled it but no result.
This year we will start in Bangkok and from there want a day trip to Kanchanaburi and a day trip to Ayutthaya. After that I would like to continue traveling to the (North) East. I think it would be a great experience to be able to see something of the real (non-touristy) Thailand. I would like to stay here for about 4 to 5 days. Does anyone here have any tips for us?
