I have a question about Dutch rolling tobacco (Drum or Samson or similar). Is it for sale anywhere in Bangkok? or Kanchanaburi? I've searched but only found a few old threads from years ago. It is absolutely not my intention to start a discussion here about whether or not to smoke.

When I walk on (which is sometimes necessary because there is no motorbike taxi available) the pain radiates further down, first to my thigh and then to the calf. Stopping occasionally and standing for 2 minutes helps somewhat to continue walking.

I read that you are not allowed to smoke on the beach in Thailand. Is that the case everywhere or only at some beaches? Because I assume they don't have police on every beach?

I used a sleeping pill (Zolpidem) for 25 years and stopped taking it for 2 months, that took a lot of willpower, with all kinds of withdrawal symptoms. As I said, no problem for 2 months, but now I'm at it again, otherwise I won't sleep.
