Thai government: Vaccinated foreigners still have to be quarantined
The Ministry of Health released a statement on Tuesday saying that all foreigners arriving in Thailand must undergo mandatory 14-day quarantine, even if they have been vaccinated.

My wife is leaving for Thailand next week. She must also remain in a state-funded quarantine. She wonders what kind of shelter she will end up in?

Thailand relaxes entry conditions for tourists from 56 countries
Tourists from Australia, France and the United States, among others, can travel to Thailand without a visa, but they do need a non-Covid statement to show that they are free from Covid-72 19 hours before departure. Also, one must first spend 14 days in a quarantine hotel upon arrival, said Taweesilp Visanuyothin, spokesperson for the Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA).

I now live in NL and want to go to Thailand and take my dog with me as soon as possible. It has been treated in the past and it seemed to me to do very well. Now I read on the LICG website that the dog must be quarantined for 30 days after arrival. Does anyone have recent experience transporting a dog to Thailand?

The Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration will discuss next week the Ministry of Health's proposal to shorten the mandatory quarantine period from fourteen days for travelers from abroad to ten days.
Does anyone have experience with the reception of his or her Thai partner who has returned to Thailand? My girlfriend is planning to come to the Netherlands next month, but she is dreading the quarantine when she returns to Thailand. I understand that the return journey is arranged through the embassy. Her big fear is that she will be placed in a barracks somewhere outside Bangkok.
The national infectious disease commission has approved the draft proposal for the national quarantine policy. The committee agrees with the proposal to shorten the mandatory quarantine period for returning Thai and foreigners from 14 to 10 days.

Thailand wants quarantine-free travel bubble with China
Bloomberg News recently reported that Thailand is in talks with China to make arrangements for a quarantine-free travel bubble in January next year.
