At the beginning of September I have to renew my annual visa and so far I have always used the income statement from the Austrian consulate here in Pattaya. At the beginning of this year I read that there were some problems with this statement. My question is can I use this statement or do I have to arrange something else?

Visited Immigration Pattaya this morning for 1 year extension of retirement. Almost everything okay, but bank book copies were not clear on monthly pension payments. Had to ask my bank for an overview with a letter of what had been deposited in the last year before April 7 (cost for this was 100 Baht, she said, but a little later sorry, but that is now 200 Baht).

Yesterday I went to Immigration office Soi 5 Jomtien in Pattaya to have a new annual visa made. I had several copies with me of what I still thought I needed. There I was told that income statement drawn up by Austrian Consulate in Pattaya is no longer accepted.

An income statement can still be obtained at the Austrian Consulate in Pattaya (and is still accepted by Thai immigration) for the extension based on “retirement”. The Austrian consulate does not issue an income statement for the extension based on “Thai wife”, which I personally asked.
