I live in Korat (Nakhon Ratchasima) I see with 1 eye blurry and black spots. After a visit to the ophthalmologist at St. Mary's Hospital, I was told that my retina is detaching and I need surgery. This was not possible at St. Mary's and I was referred to the only specialist here in Korat who is in Maharath Hospital. I am looking for a good ophthalmologist, in Isaan. I myself live between Pakhat and Bueng kan. It can also be a clinic. Udon Thani was manageable, but Bangkok and Pattaya are too far for me, because I will have to visit the doctor or clinic many times for the treatment of my Macro Degeneration. I hope to find people who have personally experienced this problem and who can give me some information about how the treatment works.

Because after such an operation, aftercare is required and then I am no longer in the Netherlands, so I have to have the operation performed in Pattaya or the surrounding area.

I wonder if readers have experience with or are familiar with state hospitals or private hospitals or clinics that have eye specialists, preferably in the Rayong area, the latter being less important.
