Soon I'm going to Thailand for six weeks, traveling around on my own. I would like to celebrate New Year's Eve with other tourists/backpackers. Where is the best place to do that? During one of the last meetings, the Pattaya Business & Tourism Association gave the green light for a modified New Year's Eve celebration in Pattaya. However, Lord Naris, district chief of Banglamung told the press present that representatives of the major entertainment industry should take the king's death into account in their planned activities.
