Dentist wanted within 300km of Nongkhai
I have an important question for my health. I live in Nongkhai and am looking for a good dentist within a radius of 300 km who will extract my remaining upper teeth and then fit me with dentures.
A visit to Nongkhai, the border town on the Thai side of the Mekong, is not complete without a visit to Salaeoku. Words fail to describe the sculpture garden, set up by the monk Launpou Bounleua, who died in 1996.
Nongkhai Resort: almost worth a detour
For those arriving in Nongkhai by train, the resort is already very easy to find. It is within walking distance of the station, opposite the exit, on the left in the soi. And so it is also easy to find with your own transport.
A new driver's license in Thailand
As a foreigner living in Thailand you must have a Thai driver's license. The 1st time you get a driver's license, it is valid for 1 year. If you want to extend it, you will receive a driver's license that is valid for 5 years and the number of months until your birthday.
