Annoying experience at immigration in Pattaya. Normally, after my 3 months non-o visa has expired, I apply for an extension of 1 month and then have to pay 1900 baht for it. However, I was told yesterday that that possibility no longer exists and that an extension is only possible for 7 days for the same amount.

I have a Non O visa which I tried to extend in December but it was too early. Then we went to Chiang Mai and applied for an extension upon return. The period of stay was valid until January 27. Now I have received a stamp that it will take until February 17 to be approved, but we will leave the country on January 30. Maybe I'll have to redo everything?
