Is there an ombudsman in Thailand for health insurance issues?
Like many others in Thailand, I have problems with reluctant health insurance. However, I heard in the rumor mill that there is an ombudsman to whom you can submit these problems.

Eddy received the following reaction from the Belgian ombudsman regarding a complaint about no longer legalizing the affidavit by the Belgian embassy in Bangkok.
A number of entrepreneurs in Chiang Mai appeal to the national ombudsman, because they believe they are being treated unfairly. These entrepreneurs are threatened with eviction from the Mae Rim National Forest area.
Stichting GOED: Unjustifiably less AOW - Ombudsman in conversation with SVB and Tax Authorities
Many Dutch people abroad suddenly receive less AOW, the tax rules have changed. The SVB must now deduct wage tax from the state pension of certain groups of people who live abroad. As a result, the AOW is lower. However, it is possible to get an exemption from payroll tax, which must be requested from the Tax Authorities.
We all have to deal with it, also in Thailand, contact with officials of the Dutch government such as the Tax Authorities, UWV, municipality, CBR and the embassy. The experience with that is not very positive. The Dutch therefore believe that the services provided to citizens must improve significantly. People want a government that is fair and understanding. They also want a government that responds quickly and helps them on their way with knowledge of the facts.
With this I would like to inform/warn readers against illegal actions by the SVB (Social Insurance Bank), which, without proof, first sold me a partner in Thailand (Oh, Mr. van Dijk, you understand that we assume that men like you in Thailand have a partner!) and my old age pension decreased. Subsequently deprived of my residency because of: “no lasting relationship with the Netherlands”.
National ombudsman calls the Public Prosecution Service careless in the Van Laarhoven case
The National Ombudsman ruled that the Public Prosecution Service (OM), the Ministry of Justice and Security and the Dutch police acted negligently in the case of Johan van Laarhoven, who is serving a long prison sentence in Thailand.
The National Ombudsman is starting an investigation into the complaints of Mr Van L. and his partner about a request for legal assistance to Thailand. The complaints relate to the way in which the Public Prosecution Service shared information with the Thai authorities about the request for legal assistance. Mr Van L. and his partner were arrested by the Thai authorities shortly afterwards. They have been sentenced to long prison terms.
The Social Insurance Bank (SVB) must inform people who live abroad and are entitled to state pension in the future about the increase in the state pension age. This is the conclusion of the National Ombudsman, Reinier van Zutphen, after an investigation.
