The Department of Mineral Resources (DMR) has warned in 54 provinces of dangerous and sometimes deadly mudslides that can occur during the rainy season.
Residents and tourists on the resort island of Phuket have been warned of possible flash flooding and dangerous mudslides as heavy rain is expected to hit the province and other areas in southern regions.

Affected villages in Uttaradit cut off from the outside world
The disaster in Uttaradit has killed three people; six people are still missing.
