My wife has both Thai and Belgian nationality. She is in possession of a Thai passport and identity card with her first name and my family name. Took my name on the Thai town hall. Her maiden name is on her Belgian identity card.

Last August 2017, I applied for a visa for my girlfriend to come to the Netherlands for 3 months and received it. The visa turned out to be valid until 14-07-2019. Now, last December 2017, she finalized her divorce proceedings, which had been very overdue, and resulted in her getting a new passport with her family name (maiden name) in it. The visa valid until 07-2019 is still on her married name, in her old passport.

I have been in the Netherlands with my husband since June last year. We would like to go to Portugal on holiday by plane this year. During booking, I was asked for personal details such as those in my Thai passport. When I compared my passport details with that of my ID as provided by the IND, it turned out that the ID shows my maiden name, while my Thai passport shows me with my husband's name. I changed my surname to that of my husband.
So on my passport I'm listed with my husband's name, and on the ID with my own name.
