I am arranging for a friend who is currently staying in Pattaya to come back to the Netherlands. Fortunately, KLM was able to change its ticket to March 31. The employee also indicated on the phone that there is no access to the airport in Bangkok for people without Thai nationality, unless they can provide a health certificate. I can't find anything about this online at all, except that it is mandatory for travelers arriving at the airport via planes.

The reason I ask is that I would like to go to Koh Phangan sometime but I can't take the boat because I get seasick easily. Real dog shit. I have much less trouble with flying.

I also don't know where I can pick up the SIM card at the airport?
