I am now 64 and want to go to Thailand for 1 year and buy a scooter there. Now I found out that with a Multiple entry visa I can only stay in Thailand for a maximum of 180 days a year. Is this so…? And is it also possible to stay longer, for example 1 year.

I have been in Thailand for 5 months now and have a retirement visa, age 53 and live with my girlfriend in her house. My question is what happens if I stay here for more than 8 months? What I read is that you are being unsubscribed. And you are then no longer insured in the Netherlands. But if I go back to the Netherlands later, can I just inform the health insurer again and still insure myself for the period that I am in the Netherlands or not? And register again with the municipality where I live that I will be there again for a while.
