There is a lot to see and do on Phuket when you leave the tourist spots behind. For starters, there are some great beaches, so arrange car hire or a taxi ride. And then there are many islands, some of which are among the most beautiful in the world.
Much of Satun Province to Global Geopark by Unesco. The decision was made in Paris yesterday. The Ministry of the Environment had nominated the area for the special mention in 2016.
