The filmed introduction of James Bond in 'Dr. No' in 1962 introduced Western cinema audiences to a world that stimulated their imagination and took them to exotic places that most could only dream of at the time: Jamaica, the Bahamas, Istanbul, Hong Kong and, of course, Thailand.

Thanks in part to the film industry, Thailand has gained fame as a tourist destination. Images of beautiful virgin beaches thrilled the cinema audience. For example, you can book a trip to the 'James Bond Island' in Phuket. Unfortunately, you won't find him there with a beautiful Bond girl by his side.
We wish to visit Phang Nga Bay in mid-August and would like to do so from Phang Nga – possibly with an overnight stay on Panyi – so that we could beat the masses of tourists from Krabi and Phuket.
