TAT: Thailand enforces 'fully reopened' entry rules!
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) would like to clarify that Thailand will continue to welcome all travelers under the old policy of full opening to international tourists that was introduced on October 1, 2022.
Latest news: Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health has canceled the entry rules regarding vaccination certificates with immediate effect.
There has been an important update on the new Covid-19 entry rules that will apply from January 9, 2023. Unvaccinated tourists can fly to Thailand without being refused by the airline. However, they must then undergo a PCR test upon arrival.
It is not entirely clear to me what the entry rules are for unvaccinated children aged 6 and under. The website indicates: (5-17 and below 5) “under the same scheme as their guardians”.

As of July 1, almost all travel restrictions for traveling to Thailand have been lifted. Both vaccinated and unvaccinated foreign tourists can travel to Thailand.

Any readers arriving at Suvarnabhumi airport today or tomorrow? I wonder how things will go now that the Thailand Pass has been abolished. What do you have to show and where? I hear there are only random checks to see if you are vaccinated? And how long are the queues at immigration/passport control?

Maybe you can help me. My Thai wife's mother passed away and she has to go to Thailand soon (we live in the Netherlands). She has a Thai and a Dutch passport. No problem for her with the entry rules from June 1. However, she takes her 3-year-old son with her (he has a Dutch passport).

Am I fully vaccinated? In March '21 I had corona. According to the Dutch guidelines at that time, I had my first Pfizer vaccination in June '21. A second vaccination was not necessary because I had corona. In January '22 I got a booster (Pfizer).
