I've been stuck in the Netherlands for a while now because of the corona thing. I haven't seen my Thai wife and my children in months other than via video call. That's crazy isn't it? I have been living in Thailand for over 15 years and I also pay taxes there. I read somewhere that the Thai government may want to make an exception for cases similar to mine. Is more known about this? Isn't it time for the Dutch and Belgian embassy to denounce this injustice of families separated by Covid-19? This is inhuman, isn't it?

I have a question about returning to Thailand, which I can't seem to find any information about on the internet. I am in possession of a Retirement visa non-immigrant-O. Live in Krabi but currently unable to return home. Now there is always talk of opening the borders to tourists, but not to pensioners. Does anyone know where I can find information on this? Or perhaps what lies ahead for OSM?

The Thai government is expected to approve the plan to allow 1.000 visitors per day when the travel ban is lifted on July 1. These foreign visitors do not have to be quarantined. However, it must concern travelers from safe countries or areas and with which Thailand has made a bilateral agreement.

I planned to travel to Thailand for three weeks at the end of June with my two children. The flight with Ethiad Airways via Abu Dhabi on June 30 has already been cancelled, but I can take a later flight free of charge.

I just read here that commercial flights to Thailand are not allowed until July 1. I don't understand that. Here in Europe you see that Greece, Portugal, Austria and even Italy are already willing to receive foreign tourists. Thailand has hardly any infections and deaths and keeps the country on lockdown. Why? If tourists come again, it will bring in money again. Now you see poverty and hunger among the Thais. Is this government a lottery ticket or am I misunderstanding?
