Accommodation is indispensable on holiday, including in Pattaya. The advantage of this city is that, except around Christmas and the New Year, you do not have to book in advance, because the offer is more than sufficient. So when I first left for Pattaya about ten years ago, I had no idea where I would stay. Well, some idea where, of course, because the most important thing is and remains the location, but not in which hotel.

It can be quite annoying in a hotel. You are sleeping well, but you wake up from slamming doors and shouting from other hotel guests. It has happened to me a few times in Bangkok. Tourists who have to check out before dawn and then start throwing and shoving their suitcases around are also not pleasant when you are sleeping.

We regularly book hotels in Thailand via the well-known booking sites. Sometimes via Agoda, then again via Booking or Hotels.com. You then go by the photo that is on the website in question. Sometimes that is very disappointing when you actually get into the hotel room, for example because things are tired.
