Thai airlines implement weight checks for better flight safety
Thai airlines, including prominent names such as Bangkok Airways, Air Asia and Thai Lion Air, have taken a notable step for the safety of their flights. They ask passengers to participate in a weight check, including carry-on luggage, prior to their trip. This measure, in line with international standards, aims to maximize flight safety and is also applied by other global airlines.
The Dutch seem to be getting taller and heavier
Men aged 20 or older were on average 2018 meters in 1,81, women 1,67 meters. The average height has increased by 1981 centimeters for men since 3,8 and by 1,5 centimeters for women. Per increased centimeter of height, Dutch men have gained almost 1981 kilograms in weight between 2018 and 2,3, women with 4,7 kilograms more than double.
