Thailand is committed to birth promotion as a national priority
In a remarkable move, the Thai government has made “birth rate promotion” a national priority, aiming to tackle the country's declining birth rates. The “Give Birth Great World” initiative, led by the Ministry of Health, introduces advanced reproductive technologies and fertility support.
Thailand is aging rapidly
Thailand is aging very strongly. It is already an outdated society and the country will become a 'super-aged' society by 2031, by which time 28% of the population will be 60 years or older.
Perhaps 75 percent of Thai universities are at risk of closure in the next ten years due to the low number of applications and increasing competition from foreign universities, warns Arnond Sakworawich, affiliated with Nida.
