I am Peter and I am one of the designers of the flower parade in Valkenswaard, which is held annually on the 1nd Sunday in September. After 2 years of corona, we can again provide a parade full of floral splendor this year. The theme this year is WORLD PARTIES!
Calendar: Chiang Mai Flower festival February 5-7, 2021
One of the best events in Thailand is definitely the flower festival in Chiang Mai, which is held every year on the first full weekend in February (subject to cancellation due to Covid measures).
Flower parade with Thai participants
It is nice to see the Dutch flower parade on Thai television and to read it in the Pattaya Mail. This is not entirely coincidental because this year Nong Nooch was chosen to lead the parade that started in Noordwijk and ended in the city of Haarlem over a distance of more than 40 kilometers. Together with the parade, the spectators enjoyed a beautiful light show.
This year there will be another Thai participant in the Bollenstreekcorso on April 21. Nong Nooch Tropical and Culture Garden from Sattahip sends a delegation to Haarlem. Last year there was no participant from Thailand because of the mourning period after the death of King Bhumibol.

A delegation from Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden near Pattaya has come to the Netherlands to participate in the flower parade in the Dutch bulb region.
