My plan is to leave with a visa exempt and then start the procedure in BKK for a Non-Imm O, followed by annual extensions of stay. Can you confirm that it is still possible to enter the country with an extension of stay? Do I also need a COE? If so, does that also have to be done with a personal appointment at the embassy, or is that an online procedure?
In response to my earlier question, I think you are wrong about EXTENSION based on NON-O. You mention that a 30-day extension is not possible on a NON-O marry visa, but a 60-day extension is.
I entered Thailand in 2006 with a Non-O visa on August 24. Since then I have been granted an Extension of Stay and Re-entry Permit every August until August 23 the following year. My current Extension of Stay and Re-entry Permit is valid until August 23, 2020.

I hold an 'extension of stay, retirement', issued 10 years ago with a Non-O visa. Have been living in Thailand for more than 10 years and have deregistered from the Netherlands. Have a multi re-entry permit. I left Thailand on April 9 to work on one of my employer's ships.

My question now is whether there are TB readers who use Transferwise for their extension of stay (retirement) and get this approved by their immigration office.
My non immigrant o multiple entry expires on 17/12/2019. Upon arrival on 20/11/2019, I received a 90-day stay until 17/02/2020. My question is, if I want to apply for a retirement visa, when should this be done? For 17-12-2019 or do I have time until 30 days before the end of my stay, namely 17-02-2020 this would stay until 24-03 to avoid misunderstandings and return after the summer for 1 year
Thailand visa question: Only 1 day to extend my annual visa
Due to a stupid mistake on my part, I only have 1 day to extend my annual visa. I will arrive by plane in the morning at 6:00 am on June 24 at Bangkok airport. My visa expires on the 25th of June. On the Thailand blog it is regularly said: Extension of the annual visa. A distinction must now be made between a visa and an extension of stay. Those are two different things. Saying 'extend a visa' over and over creates confusion.
Visa for Thailand: Have an annual visa done by an agency
An elderly man of 82 years old lives here in Changmai. He has an AOW benefit of 1100 euros per month. A pension of 200 euros p/m. So far he has had it done by an agency and paid 25.000 Thb. for an annual visa, + the 90 days is done by the agency.
Suppose you have a passport with a stamp Extension of stay for 1 year. You lose that passport or it gets stolen during that year or you have to renew your passport because it is full and you have to apply for a new one in Belgium. What do you have to do to still be able to use that extension of stay?
The TM 7 form asks for the reason for extension (extension of one year). I'm doing it for the first time. What should I fill in, or certainly not. I am “retired”, have AOW + small pension. Immigration Chiang Mai is what it's all about.
Today I received another extension for a year at the Khon Kaen immigration. First of all, the mention that they are at a new address, namely at Bus Terminal 3, building 3, 2nd floor. Neat office, nice and spacious. The second mention is that they are still very friendly and helpful. Certainly not an authoritarian look, which I sometimes read here. Just “nicely formal” and a smile is certainly not shunned.
Visa for Thailand: Applying for an extension or stay?
I have been staying in Thailand for 8 months and 4 in the Netherlands for years (because of health insurance). All these years I have always applied for a new multiple entry O visa at the embassy in The Hague, and luckily always received it. If I have understood you correctly, I can also get an extension of stay in Thailand at the end of a 90-day period, also in the future, if my visa has expired (17-10-2019). My current 90-day period runs until May 4, 2019. So I would like to start applying for an extension of stay at the beginning of April.
Immigration has something new again?
At the 90-day notification at immigration Ubon Ratchathani, I received 2 forms for the extension of stay in March next.
One is a TM7 that you can already fill in and the other has no number. I looked on the internet and the TM30 form looks different and asks for different information. The “new” form now asks, for example, what my wife's job is and her salary. What does her job and her salary have to do with my extension of stay? If I wasn't married, what then?
Extension of the Extension of Stay on Koh Samui
