My son (NL) is married in Thailand to a Thai woman, the marriage is not (yet) registered in the Netherlands. They recently gave birth to twins. Born in a hospital in Bangkok. Unfortunately, my son couldn't be here because of the corona. His wife signed for the birth of the children at the hospital.

My son was born in July 2019 now I want to apply for a Dutch passport for him. I have almost all the documents together and have them legalized at the Thai ministry of foreign affairs. But now one document is still missing and that is the acknowledgment of my son. Who can tell me where I can have this document made in Thailand or in the Netherlands?

I want to start a recognition procedure at the Dutch embassy in Bangkok. Our daughter is now almost 4 years old. I can find very little information on the internet, and before contacting the embassy I would like to know a bit more about the state of affairs at the moment.

I have a Thai girlfriend. We are not married. And we have a child together now 8 months old. Yesterday we went to the Dutch embassy in Bangkok. It asks for an acknowledgment certificate.
