My husband and I are planning to stay in Thailand for 6 to 8 months early next year. My husband is eligible for a retirement visa, but I am not yet. Now I understood that I may be able to use a dependent visa.
Thailand Visa Question No. 206/20: Extension as “Dependent”
Friends of mine are now in Belgium and have an extension based on retirement with re-entry until May 1. As it stands now, they will not get to Thailand in time. So they are planning a possible return for early October with a new non-immigrant visa. They would then apply for an extension retirement for him with 'dependant' for her.
I have a question about extending Non-Imm O Single Entry after 90 days. It concerns ourselves, married, both non-Thai. After 90 days we would like to extend. How many days extension possible without annual extension? In the event of an extension, 800.000 Baht is required per person or if the woman is *dependent*, is 800.000 Baht sufficient for the Thai bank account together?
For several years my Dutch wife and I have been wintering in Thailand for about 4 months. We are both retired, so 65 + and apply for a NON-immigrant “O” together at the Thai consulate.
